
Richard Suthers
Richard is a senior consultant in SHM with a particular interest in strategy, performance management, new ways of working and cultural change. In his six years at SHM he has worked with a wide range of private and public sector clients. In the private sector he has collaborated with a number of FTSE 100 clients implementing large scale global business change programs, designing and developing new operating models, cultures, performance measurement systems and ways of working. In the public sector, Richard has consulted on a number of successful large change projects in the NHS, DoH and LSC often underpinned by significant investment in information technology. He has also worked on community based issues with socially excluded groups and learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.
Prior to SHM, the majority of his career was with Unilever, which included twelve years on the boards of highly innovative global operating companies responsible for strategy, finance and IT. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and graduated from London University with a degree in Physiology.
