Lauren joined SHM as a consultant in 2008. She works on a range of projects across the private and public sectors which leverage her expertise in marketing and communications. Lauren has also been focused on delivering a number of projects for the Learning and Skills Council, working with their supply chain to develop capabilities. These projects have helped the LSC define its strategy for resolving the skills shortage in the UK labour market. This programme has featured pioneering strategic and tactical approaches to employer engagement and operating in demand-led markets.
As a result of her experiences, Lauren has developed a range of brand and customer service skills. She helps lead SHM’s drive to incorporate and utilise new technology in its operations as well as understand this evolving role (and the opportunities of new media) in brand strategy. Lauren is exploring and developing the links between branding, customer service and improved performance in the public sector.
Prior to joining SHM, Lauren worked at a BMW Group dealership for Inchcape Retail in a sales and customer service role. Lauren holds a BSocSc (Hons) in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester.
