Damian Low

Damian is a researcher and project manager, with a particular interest in politics. His work on private sector projects is focused on transformational change for organisations, such as Diageo. Alongside this he has managed projects that aim to incorporate the humanities into mainstream business thinking, in particular a joint project with UCL in which academia and business worked together to understand the behavioural patterns governing people's use of energy sources. These insights were then used to contribute to the design of appropriate practical solutions for reducing energy usage.

Before joining SHM Damian worked for the national employment charity Tomorrow's People, looking at why families with a history of unemployment are more likely to see future generations of their family also unemployed. This work included developing research papers and managing a stakeholder-insight event for politicians, research experts, and policy-makers at 11 Downing Street.

Damian holds a BA in Politics and an MSC in Politics and International Relations, both from Royal Holloway, University of London.
